Dinner and Reading with Marilynne Robinson
We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting an informal dinner with one of the headline speakers at our Reading for Wellbeing Conference, Pulitzer and Orange Prize-winner Marilynne Robinson (Home, Gilead), on Monday 16th May, 7.30pm, at Blackburne House (Blackburne Place, off Hope Street, Liverpool, L8 7PE).
The two course dinner, with wine, costs only £25 per person.
‘I’m not saying that you’re actually dead if you haven’t read Marilynne Robinson, but I honestly couldn’t say you’re fully alive.’ Brian Appleyard, The Times
This will not only be a fantastic opportunity to meet other delegates before the Conference on the 17th, but will give those who are unable to attend a chance to hear Marilynne speak informally about her life and work in a relaxed atmosphere.
Places at the dinner cost only £25, which includes a two course dinner and wine.
There are only a limited number of places available. Please contact Claire Speer if you would like to book a place: clairespeer@thereader.org.uk / 0151 794 2830
