Tickets for the Penny Readings have now sold out!
If you've missed out, don't worry - or, if you've been lucky enough to get them and want a sneaky peek of what's to come - you can get a taste of the Penny Readings at our special event tomorrow night (Tuesday 23rd November). Angela Macmillan will be at Waterstone's on Bold Street from 7pm reading from A Little, Aloud, and you can join her for the small price of £2 (redeemable against the purchase of the book on the night).

Dear Reader – very sorry! Every year it is a terrible problem, this ticket business. Any suggestions for a fairer way? Have you had a go at the tickets on ebay?

I’ve been so busy trying to check if my bid was still worthy that I’ve not had time to think of a fairer way – I must be the biggest ‘prude’ (for want of a better word) going as I’ve not bid for anything before and don’t feel comfortable doing it! Good news is I’ve managed to secure a ticket – phew!
